What Meesho asks for in product photos

These are the rules Meesho publishes in its seller guide for sarees on supplier.meesho.com, which we last checked on 17 September 2026. Its guide for other clothes uses the same wording. Anything not in this table is not published outside the Supplier Panel, so treat claims about exact pixel sizes or background colours with care.

Meesho also checks every catalogue before it goes live. Its supplier lesson on quality check errors says a catalogue becomes live once it passes the Quality Check, and lists image link and image upload errors among the reasons one can fail, so upload clean JPEG files from the start.

The short list is good news. It means the thing that decides whether a Meesho buyer taps your listing is not a technical spec but whether the photo shows the garment clearly and truthfully, worn the way it will be worn. That is where a flat-lay loses to a model shot, and where the cost of a studio usually stops sellers from getting one.

Why only three views when Myntra and Amazon get five? Meesho requires the front image alone, and Meesho sellers watch cost closely, so the preset stops at front, side and back.    Photograph the design on your phone

   Laid flat or hanging straight, in daylight, with only the fabric in the frame. For a saree, take the blouse piece as a second photo. The photo prep guide has the four rules that save a wasted generation.

   Upload it and pick Meesho

   Upload the photo in section 1, open Marketplace in section 2 and pick Meesho. The poses, the light grey background, the model and the 1K JPEG output are set and locked, so every design in the catalogue matches.

   Generate and check

   Each photo takes about a minute. Look at the border, the print and the colour against the real garment before you keep it. If something is off, the fixing a result guide covers the usual causes.

   Download and upload to the Supplier Panel

   Put the front view first, since that is the image Meesho asks for, and add the side and back views after it.

A 1K photo is 1 credit, so a full Meesho set of 3 is 3 credits, which is ₹30 plus 18% GST3 credits per design.
